Time has certainly catch up with the once-flamboyant Paul Anka but his timeless collection of fabulous songs continue to attract all walk of listeners from young to old. The indisputable king of romantic song of the oldies, now 66 years of age, sang all these nostalgic beautiful classic back in 1960s –1970s. This handsome chap in his youth day tend to write and sing catchy and easy-to-sing-along romantic song pertaining to relationship courtship to reflect those situation and event he experience.

One of those day will come when you open your eyes and reflect upon the journey of your life, thinking about the old time, good and bad times which certainly bring back those memories that will put a smile on your face. Thinking of how time could possibly fly so fast. Reminise those time in school and university, and recall how your cute children grown up, seeing your friends having families of their own.

Without fail, Paul Anka with his classy voice manage to stir those feeling of nostalgicness in this timeless masterpiece, Times of Your Life.

 

In this wonderful song, Paul Anka teaches us how to remember the time of our life as we grow from innocent child to graceful old age just like he did from the above photos which increasingly increase in size as age progress .

 

I remember this is also the song for a insurance/bank TV commercial some years back in Singapore, though I couldn’t quite remember for which company. It timeline a couple from their youthful day meeting each other, courtship, the day of marry, having children, children grown up, couple growing old embracing each other as they recall the past. This song really reflect those event excellently. I couldn’t get the version for Paul Anka in Youtube,  Look like someone post a version of Paul Anka’s times of his life !

It suddenly get very lonely and fearful when one day, one found the other partner no longer around to share the same bed . Hence one should get familiar with the following song if that ever happen… The title says it all.
