One of the wonderful thing that WordPress did in the upgraded version of WordPress since 2.5x is to add support for storing popular video, image and document files. This feature together with generous free storage space of 6GB provided by WordPress.com provides a highly integrative and reliable solution in managing blog and its resources.

Note: Those file support limitation could be circumvented  by renaming the file to those supported extension. Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt, mp3, mp4, m4a, wav, ogg, mov, wmv, avi, mpg
